BRÜTE

Brüte came along when I met Gautier at the Café Mama Kin, a bar he owns in Paris 19e. Both of us being the same age and sharing a mutual love for 90s alt rock/sludge/grungy stuff, we became good friends and decided to start a band, coz that's what friends do.

Both he and I were a bit rusty from not playing 'heavy' music for a while. Previously, Gautier was singing and playing the guitar in a cool Post-HC band called FOOT CLAPPING APES whereas I hadn't 'sung' (or groaned, or meowed, or whatever) in a long time.

Wolfy, my oldest friend Nat's younger sister, later joined us on bass. We found Xavier on drums, who was rather spectacular at it, and later on, Joris (ex-Space Patrol, pre-Syriis, and freshly back from China) also joined the band as second guitar.

Here is our first demo. Sorry... I should say "EP". We recorded another one in 2019, but it was never finished as the band split up before completion. Rough mixes still exist though, maybe I’ll put them here at some point!
